Shake Your Groove Thang Part 2

The wedding was Fu-Un! And I’m not just saying that because the groom is my cousin and his family is the ONLY family of mine that reads the blog. It was a beautiful wedding, my cousin was handsome, his bride was gorgeous, his mom was STUNNING!! (Hi Aunty Di) etc. etc.

I was slightly disappointed when Bad Ass wasn’t able to come at the last minute because I am all about family pics and I can’t get any family pics if one of my siblings doesn’t show up. Handyman makes fun of me because he knows I bring my camera everywhere I go and that the only reason I even care about taking the pictures I take is so that I have a lot to choose from when I make everyone calendars for Christmas.

If I take some really cute pictures of the kids playing at the pool then I know I’ve got June all set up. A lot of times when I snap a picture I’ll hear Handyman whisper a month in my ear. When I took this picture of Lolo and Smart Ass he whispered “October” because they share a birthday (not twins) and I always put a picture of the two of them on October’s page.

Family pictures are like gold to me because it’s so hard to get everyone together at the same time. When I found out Bad Ass (who felt awful) wasn’t going to make it I kicked a garbage can and yelled obscenities…because that’s how I roll. Nothing says class like a grown woman in a dress screaming at a garbage can. And by “grown” I mean “drunk”…and did I really just call myself a “woman”, gag. When did I grow up?

Here I am a little too “grown”:

I’ll also have you know that Handyman is our family’s prized possession come wedding time. He hits the dance floor and honestly, you’ve never seen anything like it. I struggle to even find the words to describe it. I have no idea where he gets his dance moves and I wish I had recorded it just to give you a feel for what I’m talking about. He doesn’t leave the dance floor and by the end of the night he’s soaking. It’s gross. He flicks his sweat at me and wipes his wet hair on my arm when I’m not looking…but that’s a small price to pay for the entertainment he provides.

Baby is getting married in October and I’m determined to capture him in all his glory. He makes the party SO fun.

Remember GRAMPA!?! Well he was there too and I officially enjoy him a little more when he’s had a few drinks in him…the feeling may be mutual.
And now it is time…I promised you some very white dancing and very white dancing you will get. I proudly present some members of my family getting down to the one and only King of Pop’s “Thriller”:

There was a video taken of me as well…but it was mysteriously deleted. Shoot. Maybe next time.

Instead here’s a slide show of all the pictures I don’t feel like uploading…feel free to skip this viewing as there are a bunch of people you don’t know featured because I think they’ll like the pictures and they read The Blog. :)
