Some of you were asking for the story behind the fall…and the story is there is no story. I was hungover and I headed downstairs to go watch the kids so Pat could go win a collectible at a local card shop (nerd alert). I simply lost my footing and went crashing down onto my left elbow and jammed my arm into my shoulder socket. Pat heard the ruckus and came up the stairs to find me holding my arm with my eyes squeezed shut while shaking my head no to his “are you ok’s?“.
I woke up this morning and my shoulder felt much better…not 100%, but still better.
Unfortunately lifting children all day is not conducive to healing and now it hurts again…and it’s spread to my neck. I wonder if it will spread to the rest of my body and force me to call in sick to work. I wonder if I’ll be a big baby in my 30’s like I am in my 20’s. And ps I was totally kidding about being old in my 30’s…I know it gets worse. I’d just like to hang on to 29 for awhile longer.
…I thought there was something else I wanted to add…thinking…thinking…it’s not coming to me. I hate it when that happens. I’ll let you know if I think of it.
Side note: Does anyone have some extra C batteries laying around the house?? The baby swing is currently out of comission…
