1.) I had a dream last night that I was at a club with a friend and the sexy bartender dumped a large glass of wine over my head. I don’t know what was more upsetting…the shock of an alcoholic beverage dripping down my face or the fact that I was wearing a cream colored cashmere sweater at a club. Disgusting. What’s wrong with me?
2.) I pay attention to that “followers” number on my dashboard. I think it’s plain rude to “follow” me and then to retract your “following” status. One day the number is 25, the next it’s 24. Who pulled out? Who retracted? It hurts my heart. Yes. I have feelings too. Was it me? Did I offend you? Why was I good enough one minute, but not the next? What did I do wrong? Do I need to serve cookies and milk with my posts? Is there some kind of etiquette one must partake in when one is being followed? Should I follow you back? What if I don’t know you? I don’t really feel comfortable following people I don’t know. How can we fix this?
3.) Note to self: When “finely dicing” jalapenos for dinner it may be best to not touch your nose or eyes even after “thoroughly” washing your hands. Holy sweet mother of burning nostrils that’s not a good idea.

I’m on page 215. How did you crazies finish this book in a weekend? Gaw-lly that’s a lot of reading. Anyways here’s the deal for those of you who want to know the book without reading it.
Cliffnote version:
-Bella moves to Forks, WA to live with her Dad and is the new girl at school.
-Edward is an outcast who socializes only with his sisters and brothers.
-Bella is intrigued by Edward, but he’s moody and often appears to hate her.
-Edward does not hate Bella, but is in fact dangerously attracted to her.
-Edward saves Bella from getting hit by a car in the school parking lot and a friendship is kindled.
-Bella finds out Edward is a vampire, but she doesn’t care…she’s likes him likes him.
-Edward wants Bella to understand that he’s breaking rules by allowing himself to be with her and that he’s very dangerous and wants her blood, but he’s controlling himself.
-In typical teenage fashion Bella does not care about what may or may not harm her.
-Edward can read what people are thinking, but for some reason cannot read what Bella is thinking…the mystery intrigues him.
-Edward saves Bella’s life a second time when she finds herself alone on a street with scary men.
-Edward considers it his duty to keep Bella alive and is always worried about her.
And that’s where I stop. I like the book. It’s easy to read. I’m in like with Edward, but I don’t like that he wants to suck Bella’s blood. I don’t want him to be a vampire. I heard people were unhappy with the way the trilogy ends in book three. This leads me to believe that Edward or Bella dies. Either Edward can’t take it anymore and he kills Bella for her blood, or he dies trying to protect her. Those are the only two options. And at the rate I’m reading I’ll have my answer to that question in about 3 and a half years. And if that is the ending of book THREE then how the heck is book one going to end?? I must find out.
5.) Pat just called me a stray dog. We’re very happy.
6.) I eat a lot of trail mix. I thought that made me healthy. As I was pounding a bowl of the stuff today I realized I eat only the peanuts and m&ms…preferably paired together. I’m pretty sure that means I’ve been grubbin’ giant Costco sized bags of peanut m&ms disguised as trail mix for a little over a year now. I’m pretty sure that makes me unhealthy.
7.) I stole pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.
8.)Pat’s sister is in town for the weekend and she brought us bags of his step-mom’s homemade lumpia. I don’t understand a word that comes out of that little philippino woman’s mouth, but love is universal…and it comes in the form of homemade lumpia…and I love her.
