It’s What’s For Dinner: Smoked Salmon Pesto Pasta

You know what day it is today don’t you?? It’s You WON a Hoover Vaccuum day…only none of us know who won yet. I WANTED to choose a winner, really I did…the GOAL was to choose a winner…it’s just…well…every time I go to choose a winner my computer threatens to kill my entire family and I’m forced to stop. It has nothing to do with my gross underestimation of how long it would take to tally up 32 quadrillion votes. Hmmm-Mmmm. Nothing like that.

Jessica contacted me about possibly hosting a giveaway from her line of jewelry found here. She mentioned that she’s so rookie she doesn’t even know how people run a giveaway or how to tally the votes and such. I think she was under the impression that I’m in cahoots with some kind of automated tally counter and all I can say to that is Girrrrl pa-lease! I’m doin’ this shit by HAND.

Next time I’m hiring Maile to do the counting for me.

OK so I PROMISE their will be a winner chosen on Wordful Wednesday…unless my computer starts threatening me again. There’s nothing I can do about that folks, it has a mind of it’s own.

SO. To tie you over meet your chef!!

Laina is a three year old Ritz Bitz lover who enjoys forcing me to be a horse so that she can ride from the bathroom to her room each night at bedtime.

Tonight’s menu Smoked Salmon Pesto Pasta! Click here for the recipe.

In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat and then add onion, mushrooms, and garlic and cook until onions are transparent.

Next stir in tomato paste, pesto sauce, fresh basil, water and smoked salmon.

Cook gently for 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve over pasta (or mix it all in like I do) and enjoy!!

Ok so here’s what it’s SUPPOSED to look like:
