Last night I went to Baby’s house to help her and her friends make center pieces for her wedding. Fun stuff…
I’m dangerous with a glue gun.
I don’t know why they invited me.
Probably because I’m the MAID OF HONOR…have I mentioned that to The Blog yet!?! So what if she *cough* drew my name from a hat of other potential MOH’s *cough*…I like to think a little “divine intervention” took place at the moment of that drawing.

Anyways while I was at Baby’s I made her film me choosing the Hoover contest winner. It’s embarrassing. I hate being on film, but I’m looking at it as practice for Ellen. I’ve got to get some camera time under my belt.
I asked her fiance, The Daveman, to leave the room but he refused and instead leaned forward with a look of intent on his face…then I asked Baby to start the video over and she refused. I think they wanted me to wrap it up so I would leave their humble abode…nervous laughter ensued. But we made it through.

ps A lot of you were interested in how I happened upon such a lovely give away and to be honest I have no idea how that happened. In short, I received an email from “alison” telling me all about Hoover. I thought it was spam, but for kicks and giggles replied by asking her to send me two vacuums and a hundred. One vacuum to “test”, one to give away, and a hundred dollars for humors sake. To my surprise she emailed back and said she’d send the vacuums, but not the money.
I got her information and called her to make sure she was legit and the rest is history. She was legit and that’s how I came to be the face of Hoover vacuums. :) I’m certain they’ll be asking me to star in some upcoming commercials or something…stay tuned for that.
