I’m home and I’m ok.
The snow trapped me and the girls at my sister’s house over the weekend and upon returning home this morning and checking my email there were over 30 messages asking where I was and if I was ok. And by “over 30” I mean none…but I’m sure you were wondering.
Hush now. It’s slick out there, but we’re safe and dry in the confines of our own home now. Worry no more.
And here is what the weekend taught me:
1.) I love snow but I don’t like it telling me what to do.
2.) Little girls at McDonald’s dressed like gangsters to match their gangster dads, are something to be concerned about.
3.) Tampons and septic tanks are not friends and together produce embarassing results
4.) Breakfast sausage, while delicious, should never be snacked on all day long.
5.) Laina will refuse to remain at a sleepover if she doesn’t like your toes.
6.) Chewy Lemonhead and Friends are footloose, gluten free and fantiddlyastic.
6.) Nobody likes me when I’m sober.
7.) I want to star on MADE and be turned into a hip hop dancer.
8.) I love the snow, but I don’t like it to keep my packages from arriving in time for Christmas.
