I’m going with the list…and I apologize in advance for the link overload, but I have to give credit where credit is due here, so hang tight. In no particular order:
1.) Gluten free cookbooks!
I have a stack of 7 bookmarked on my stairs right now and at least ten on the holds list at the library. I MUST find the very best “tastes like the real thing” gluten free recipes! It is a new passion, which is why you have not seen many “It’s What’s For Dinner” posts lately.
Unfortunately my quest for GF meals means some successes and a lot of failures…and while I’m failing at being a gluten free chef boyardee, both my family and my blog starves. I’m gettin’ there. Love me through it.
2.) Etsy is and has been a love of mine for nearly a year now. I find all kinds of goodies on there and while I’m not a big artsy person I do really love Lew Foster’s shop. He has an awesome selection of a series he calls “Women In Solitude”. I don’t know why, but they struck a chord with me. Love them…and these ones are my faves. Check out more of his work here, it’s phenomenal…and only fifteen bucks for a print. Not bad!
3.) As much as I love aprons I am developing and equally amorous relationship with tutus and pettiskirts! Here are a couple on Etsy I LOVE. I’m just picturing the girls in these in a photo shoot with my favorite photographer. This one is from Chic Baby Rose…
Yes. This is the kitty that found our house a little over a week ago. Rail thin and sick I had no choice, but to take her to the humane society. I begged you all to convince me not to go back and get her. She peed on my couch. Half of you did not do a good job of convincing me I shouldn’t get her. The other half of you (including my family and close friends) were very persuasive and I abandoned my thoughts of rescuing this poor kitty.
Well there she is.
Still. At. The Shelter.
That is the shelter’s picture of her. She’s calling me. I don’t know how much longer I can hold out. A new litter of kittens was brought in and Marcy doesn’t stand a chance next to them.
Trying. To. Stay strong.
5.) My last favorite thing is on my wish list at Victoria’s Secret. Remember that top I got that was really sassy and sexy? You all told me to get it and rock it. Well it was hideous. I should have taken pictures. WAAAY too short for my liking and when I pulled it down the neckline became non-existent…meaning bra showage. It had to go…so now I want this.
And I want look just like that when I wear it. Tan and anorexic. My two biggest goals in life…just don’t tell the donuts.
