Was The Bachelorette last night REALLY about impotence? OH! My Pollyanna eyes and ears!!!
And poor poor Ed. As if the fact that he applied to star on The Bachelorette didn't make him enough of a joke to his buddies...now he's impotent on national television.And she TOLD us! And she acted all upset like...like it was going to make a difference in her choice. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure I would not be able to get it up on national television either. I think there are special people for jobs like that and I'm pretty sure they're called porn stars.
Poor poor Ed. I'm so embarrassed right now.
In the mean time...Reid was let go. He made the mistake of not telling Jillian he was falling in love with her so she had no choice. She's not allowed to tell any of the men she's falling for them, but apparently if they reciprocate in that same manner they get the boot. Reid didn't seem as ready to jump into marriage and babyland as the other guys were. I think she made the right choice.No word yet on Reid's performance in the bedroom. I'm hoping on an update next week during the reunion show.
After the reunion show we're looking at a finale. ABC is leading us to believe their is some kind of confession that makes Jillian second guess her final choice. We'll see. It's not like ABC to string us along in this fashion so only time will tell.
bachelor: I don't really know what you want me to do, I've never had my picture taken before.photographer: Just lean to the right slightly and put your hands on your hips...

photographer: Yeah yeah! That's perfect...just. like. that. NEXT!

Okay, I seriously felt SO badly for Ed as well. I also agree that anyone that wouldn't feel pressure to perform on national television would be a porn star. Or maybe that guy from the dry humping video from last week.
I'm on team Ed as well. Especially with all the rumors I'm hearing about Kip.

I guess I'm the outlier here. I've never had the occasion to be in this situation on national TV, but I've also not had a guy who couldn't get it up. They seem to be able to get it up at the thought that the may have the chance to get it up. Just the idea of getting it up, gets it up. At times, I've even had to question what Mr. Up was doing there because he was not invited! Just saying. It would really suck if this is what Jill has to look forward to for years to come...at least medical science can help with that.
OK...I heard that Ed had a girlfriend when he left for the show. He went back, saw her and left again. Still not breaking it off. I know, TWO guys with gals on the side this season. It could be a bunch of crud, but that is what I am hearing. I get why Jillian can't always say how she is feeling, but it always annoys me when the bachelor/ette is mad because some person they just met doesn't profress thier undying love in just the right way. I think leaving the show for your job says about your real feelings than not saying I love you right away. And btw...I know I make an ugly crying face, but now I feel much better about it. Jillian is NOT a cute crier. Am I a total snot for saying that?

I was totally bummed to see Reid go. I think he was the most sincere, while the other two are just letting it all hang out (literally in Ed's case - sorry) whether or not they are 100% convinced she's the one.
Ed is going to end up being a good friend (sadly without benefits) and Kiptyn is going to realize once the hunt is over, the goods aren't really what he wants. His mother alone should scare off Jillian.
OK, I think I need to get a life.
Team Ed all the way....although after reading your comments, I feel the need to find out about the Ed girlfriend rumors and whatever is out there about Kiptyn!! I will have to do some online sleuthing today, because everyone knows that anything you read online is true.

I think that Ed deserves better. I feel for the poor guy. What kind of person is Jillian if she has to basically call him out on that on national TV?!! I was on team Ed and still would be on team Ed if I thought she was worthy of his love. This is tough though because I think that Kiptyn is a pretty stand up guy too but he might be too good for her also.

I can't really get on the Ed train, my self. I knew Reid was going last night, though. They are just completely different people. Reid would get along well with me, but not Jillian. Ed's bright green shortshorts and white dress pants with a baby blue sport coat are just too hard for me to swallow. Kyptyn!
I did NOT get the impression it was impotence, but rather a lack of a "throw down". You know? No passion, no grrrrr, no "I have to have you NOW." Did I misunderstand? Hmmm. Me confoosed.
Either way, Reid won me over. I'm bummed he got the boot.

i realize i was watching THE BACHELOR after all, but i felt a bit robbed of my innocence. that was sorta like too much information last night. i'd rather think that after the cameras leave, they just lie there and hold each other... you know, instead of fornicate with multiple people.

I like Ed, don't get me wrong but Reid is so my style. He's just level headed and not rushing into anything just because it's a show. I think Kypt is perfectly weird. Maybe it's his ears. I'm not all about about small ears - sorry world.
And really, you think he wasn't able to perform or he just didn't want to perform? Personally, if I were Ed and realized that if she's willing to have sex with me, that maybe she had sex with two other guys before me? There would be no way I'd be willing to ... well, you know. Just sayin'.

I'm just curious as to who thought that shade of blue for the picture background was a good idea. Ugh! Even white would be preferable to that blinding color. Clearly these are talented people with their color and posing directions!
