For my vlog today I have no pictures...I'm not nearly as thoughtful this time as I was on the other posts, but what are you gonna do about? Never mind. I'll save my question for the end.
Here I am making yummy pumpkin shaped ice cream sandwiches by myself. I had one of the daycare kids film it and she was so cute. Every time I asked the camera a question she thought I was talking to her...by the end of the video she really started to take charge and direct a little. Really cute, you'll see.

I am honestly not sure how often I would vlog even with a working camera. I am old enough and scientist enough to feel the written word is a much more specific and higher bandwidth way to communicate to the broad audience. Maybe/maybe not.
I just discovered the joy of vlogging now that I have a built in cam on my comp. Though I would probably do it a lot more often if I had a camera I could take with me, rather than having to take my whole computer with me. It's a little more cumbersome.
It's a confidence thing for me, blogging is personal enough and I guess I feel that only a small number of people actually read my blog anyway and they might just think I had lost the plot if I started talking to myself in front of a video camera! I want to vlog, I love yours and Summers new make-up vlog is great also xxxx.
I don't vlog often because my crappy camera and youtube don't get along. It only will make the conversion every once in awhile, and it typically takes hours for a 30 second video to load up. It's crazy.
I don't vlog more often because every time I do, I sound like I have a lisp. Plus, I can rarely find a place in my house that I can film because I am such a crappy housekeeper!
I was hungry from the moment you mention ice cream. And, I did watch it b/c it included three of my favorite things: ice cream, cookies, and YOU! Now to answer your question: I don't vlog more for 2 reasons. 1)B/c my effing flip is busted so even though I was mildly inspired to give it a go by Keep it Classy Jen's SITScation spiel, I can't. And, 2) I have a strange sounding voice (at least to my ears) and I don't want to geek people out with it.
I am a vlogging virgin! I would try it however, if I had a digital video camera.

I DID watch the vlog, "show me the top." See! I don't vlog because I have a really, really strong Texas accent, and I'm not really sure how to edit videos to make them look nice.
Hmm..I like to Vblog when I do interview style things with my friends...and whoever I can get to interview..I do the vblogs on my digital camera...I wish I had a flip though that would be cool !
I would love to do a vlog, but my camera doesn't really have great sound. It takes phenomenal pics but its not a video camera! It would be cool to have one that I could just get out and use like the Flip!

I do have a camera, but I don't vlog because it's an ordeal to hook it up. Too many cords and cables and toddlers trying to unplug or trip over said cables. Annoying. If I had a Flip, I may vlog more (if I look good enough) because it'd be easier to hook up. You know?

I don't vlog more often on my blog because my voice is terrible on video, no not just that I don't like to hear my recorded voice, but because I have a paralyzed vocal cord and my voice sounds like I have laryngitis all the time. I think it is fun though and love to see them on other people's blogs.
I would love to vlog.....if I knew what that meant. I'm very virgin when it comes to blogging, but am seriously having a blast doing so. I don't get out much!

I forgot to answer the question...Hm, I don't vlog b/c I don't know how to get my video from my camera onto my computer. If the Flip is easier then I so would vlog more. Well, as long as I could have a professional makeup artist come and do my makeup beforehand...and fin a way to magically remove those 10lbs the camera supposedly adds!
that is soooo funny. The loud "Ohhhhhhhhhhh" or more like an "Ewwwwwwww" , but a good "ew" not a yucky "ew", when you said put the ice cream on the cookie. ANd the girl (your dughter?) giving instructions like a director. Too much!

I don't vlog often because I can't carry on an interesting conversation. I get distracted and drone on about whatever is happening in the house instead of an actual topic. "Oh yes, there's Monsoon - hey, stop picking your nose on camera! I don't pick my nose, I don't know why he does that. He probably picked it up at school. Ewww. School. Preschool kids are gross. You know what else is gross...." and that's how it goes down.
First I am a little confused. Your post says that Thursday is the last day but the other two say Friday. So on the off chance they are correct I will answer the question anyway. I do not have a camera so I don't vlog but I don't think I would if I had one. I would definitely use it and post all sorts of videos but not vlogs. Just too self-conscious I guess.

I don't vlog because honestly, I'm not that into watching videos or vlogs online. It's the noise factor...one of the things I love about blogging is that it's QUIET, as opposed to everything else in my life.

I don't vlog more on my blog because then you all would definitely want to stalk my cute kids! Besides, I always forget and say my kids' real names while I am shooting. That defeats the whole fake name on my blog thing, ya know?

The reason I don't vlog is because I suck at editing. I see people with vlogs that are edited with music, snapshots, and all that jazz...yeah, when did I get the time to do that....or even learn it!

I want to do more vlogs but they just take more time and thought than writing a post. And I also like to look half was decent when I go on camera and a lot of the time when I do a post, it is at the end of the day in my pj's.

I don't have a camera that takes clips longer than a few seconds. If I had one I would give it a try a little bit more. But in general I like blogs to be text, so I wouldn't do it more than once a week or to show really special things. I did put up a few clips of my 3 year old singing and everyone seemed to like those.
I'd rather type things out that say them in person on a VLOG. That way I can be all comfy and cozy in my PJs and not feel like I have to get dressed up for the VLOG

My grandkids and I watched your video all the way through. Chocolate chip dough is not a rolled cookie dough, it raises slightly when baked and loses it's shape. Sugar cookie dough, or a rolled chocolate cookie dough would hold the pumpkin shape. See, I told you I watched it. I'm sure they tasted perfect.
I don't vlog because my blog is quasi anonymous. . .that is, I post pictures, but they're all cartoonized, so you might think you know who we are, but can you prove it? No.
Plus, even if it wasn't, I doubt I'd vlog because I have a 3 month old, and I don't think it would look too good for all of you to see him crying in my lap whilst I desperately try to get my message across, y'know?
On top of that, I often blog in my underwear, having chucked my clothes because they're soaked in spit-up. Nuff said.

Very cute! I might start vlogging if I could just take pictures of the kids and the animals, but I'm way too self-conscious to do pictures of myself the way you do. I would always be thinking that my voice sounded funny, or I looked fat, or I was wearing the wrong outfit or something.
But I would like to have some more videos of my kids. I haven't taken any in years because our camera is big and bulky and it's really hard to hook it up to download the video off to the TV. I don't even think I have the right cords to download it to my computer. So yes, I think I need a flip camera.
