You guys are nuts! Love it. Not a huge fan of birds myself. I think it is the eyes. Yucky. So glad I live in the city. No chicken…or goats. I do have more then my fair share of creepy guys. I don’t open the door either. I think I am going to have to start e mailing my family more often.

Your family cracks me up! Was this really all one conversation?! I get freaky people coming up to my door all the time and I just pretend like I am not home. And I am with your mom…please don’t start taking in stray chickens!

LOL! Hilarious. And why is your sister scolwing at all the animals??

Like Daveman, I HIZZATE birds. For EXACTLY the same reasons. They are unpredicatable freaks that flap at you, peck at you, and divebomb. There nasty beaks and gnarled talons and beady eyes are scary as hell. And they’re gross.

But chickens and turkeys do taste good.

Too funny! I thought Roosters were suppose to be alarm clocks. It’s hilarious when they come knocking on the door!

Enjoy your blog!

I’m so glad I know this family personally… there are just not enough words in the English language to describe the deep and unending love I have for all of you…

Birds are to Daveman what Monkeys are to Jill… solidarity brother, I judge not!

DUDE. I absolutely have to vote with the Dave Man on this one–birds are dirty little creatures of Evil. I am equally skeebed by them.

Someday, I will tell you the story about the Child Who Arrived for a Sleepover With a Live Chicken in Hand…I swear, life is so weird that you can’t even make this shit up.

Love the format of this post!
