1) Superman wears red boots.

2) Even if they were pink... so what? "Judo" Gene Labell is the godfather of grappling in America and in his day, was universally considered the toughest man alive. No one ever laughed when he put on his trademark pink gi.

Eh. Those boots are clearly red. Those who think they're pink, and criticize him, they're just green (with envy). Cause he's so cute.
My son always says, "Tough guys wear pink," but he's a teenager and can hold his own against critics. If you need help I'll let you sic him on those bullies, lol!

Holy cow, Mama Kat, those pictures are priceless. PRICELESS! Can you say J-E-A-L-O-U-S???? Your siblings, I mean, not me. I am totally not jealous, and do not ask myself every spring why I never bought those for my kids so I could have cute pictures like that. No, I do not.

He's adorable, as are his pics.

I've been fighting this fight for a long time. My 8-year-old son likes Barbies, goes to dance class and would rather design me dresses with his Project Runway kit then play soccer or baseball or .

He also LOVES girls, and has MAD FLIRTING SKILLS he could teach grown men.

But his manly uncles who "tolerate" my encouragement of him to like and do what he wants, would never let their own sons do the same. To which I maturely respond..."Bite me."

He's adorable! And they look red to me :)

When my son was 3 we went shoe shopping and I told him he could pick out any shoes he wanted. Turns out he wanted Hello Kitty Mary Janes. So I let him have them....and he loved them and wore them until they fell apart and that was the end of them. He picked out Bob the Builder shoes after that. People make too big of a deal out of silly things that don't matter in the long run. Let them wear silly shoes!

What a great post. I say there are those battles that you just don't touch, ever. Shoes are one of them. If they will wear shoes at the age of two, who cares what they look like. Besides that I think they are rather dashing! It would certainly help him stand out in a crowd.

If it makes you feel any better at least they match each other, not something that my five year old's footwear does very often.
