Your Assignment, Should You Choose To Accept

(…and I lied….totally don’t have time to finish my Bachelor post today…)

Directions:

For you newbies you can learn more about Writer’s Workshop here….it’s never to late to jump in!!

Here is what you must do:

  • Choose a prompt that inspires you most.
  • Write.
  • Come back this Thursday and paste the URL to your actual post (do this by clicking the title of your post after you hit publish, an extended URL will come up in the address bar. That’s the URL you want to use) into the Mister Linky that will be up…this way anyone can click on your name and head over to your place to see what you wrote.

Feel free to write on more than one prompt if you so desire. I do it all the time, but it’s my game…and I don’t know how to shut-up…so it should be expected. And remember the more comment love you give, the more comment love you get so comment comment away.

The Prompts:

1.) Describe what you would change about yourself if you could.

2.) Book Review! What children’s book do you hate reading to your child?
(inspired by E. from Mommy’s Still Fabulous)

3.) What do you predict will happen this decade? (You can be funny or serious if you like).
(inspired by Christopher from CaJoh)

4.) Choose the 7th picture you took from last January and write a poem.

5.) Write about a heated argument you had with your parents (real or fictitious).
(inspired by Writer’s Digest)

I’ve been a bad bad Workshopper.

I’m thinking I’ll take #1 or maybe #5.

Love the new layout by the way.

First of all, love the look of the blog now. I have been terrible at keeping up with blogs I follow so I didn’t know yours had changed!

I like these prompts…1 and 4 are calling out to me.

I am new here, found this site through The Scholastic Scribe and thought I’d give it a go. I have my post typed and set to auto publish on Thursday. I will be sure to head back here and add my name to the Mr. Linky. This is a great idea, thanks so much for allowing anyone to play along.

Oh! You didn’t have time to write your Bachelor post? Oh. Hmmm. Okay. That’s fine. I totally understand. I mean, it’s not like I’ve been waiting to discuss it with you since Jillian said bu-bye to Wes or anything. Not at all. I mean, I know I came over here like 5 times today (go ahead check for my ISP thingy) just to see if you’d posted it yet, but that was more for you then for me, ya know. But, um, if you could just go ahead and read my post about the Bachelor, that would be grrr-eat.

And, um, your Writer’s Workshop prompts look really, um, interesting.

Look at you with your panties all in a bunch. At least I told you it wasn’t getting posted today and stopped you from coming over five more times. And please don’t call my prompts “errrr interesting” ever again. Just imagine if someone said that about your hair. Confusing isn’t it?

And honestly I would still be drunk right now if I drank every time they showed Jake without his shirt on. We get it. You work out. That’s awesome.

And if I hear him refer to himself as a “nice guy finishing last” one more time I’m going to puke.

LOVE THIS SHOW!!!
