Directions: You can learn more about Writer’s Workshop here….it’s never too late to jump in!! Here is what you must do:
- Choose a prompt that inspires you most.
- Write.
- Come back this Thursday and paste the URL from your actual post (do this by clicking the title of your post after you hit publish, an extended URL will come up in the address bar. That’s the URL you want to use) into the Mister Linky that will be up…this way anyone can click on your name and head over to your place to see what you wrote.
Feel free to write on more than one prompt if you so desire. I do it all the time, but it’s my game…and I don’t know how to shut-up…so it should be expected. And remember the more comment love you give, the more comment love you get so comment comment away.
The Prompts:
1.) Create your own comic strip.
2.) What was your medicine? Write about a time you remember being ill.
(inspired by writingfix.com)
3.) Oops. Write about a time your kids were yelled at for something they didn’t do.
4.) What ‘chapters of your life’ would there be? Make a list of your life’s chapters. Choose one. Write five possible opening sentences to that chapter. Then write five possible ending sentences to that chapter.
(inspired by writingfix.com)
5.) “You know a happy ending isn’t really the end. It’s just the place where you choose to stop telling the story. Why not make everything work out when you have the chance?” Where would you could you place your happy ending? (inspired by The Myth Of You And Me pg. 137)

Great! I just sign up to receive your prompt notice!
Btw, hope you don’t mind I share out your article on the 7 year old depressing article..
Fantastic prompts this week! And I’m so excited about the newsletter!
Thank you so much for doing this workshop. It’s so helpful for so many of us. Looking forward to writing and reading this week!
Ooh, one of these sounds intriguing to me!
Justine :o )
I need to get these emails.
I think the newsletter is a great idea! I want to know the prompts as soon as I can!! And did you know your mailing address comes up when you sign up for the newsletter? I don’t know if you knew that or if you want that to happen … or maybe it isn’t your mailing address but just wanted to let you know.
Awesome. Now that the whole wide WORLD knows my address, it’s fixed. Thanks again Jenners! For some reason they required an address in that spot…I didn’t know it was going on a visible platform. Boooo.
Ohhh I thought that was so we could stalk you…err I mean send you fan letters?
Your prompts are always a great challenge for me. I hope to get it together and post this week! Thanks for hosting this weekly post!
just signed up for the newsletter. thanks for doing that for us, really helps!
these prompts this week will be hard to choose from, but that medicine prompt sounds intriguing!
I’m having such a hard time deciding. I had already decided to play hooky this week, but now I’ve got the makings of a post in my head. If only I could get it out of there and onto the keyboard.
Thanks so much for giving me a shout out in the newsletter! I am SO honored!
I didn’t notice this earlier this week, but now I’m PUMPED about the emails that will be going out! SUH-WEET, Mama!
Just signed myself up :D but probably will have to pass this week. Btw, your address is still there. Hope they’ll take care of that for you soon!
