Oh for Pete’s sake!
Kasey is finally gone. He was the lesser of two evils (the other being Justin) on a date that required Ali to keep one guy and send the other home. After more uncomfortable talk centered around his undying desire to guard and protect her heart, Kasey did what we were all waiting for. He showed Ali his tattoo. The tattoo that he’ll wear for the rest of his life as proof that he was once not good enough to win the heart of a single blond on The Bachelorette. None of us will even remember her name by then, but he’ll still have that damn sheild on his forearm as a constant reminder that he just. couldn’t. cut it.
Way to go Kasey!!
Justin wins a rose by default, but it doesn’t matter because Chris N. was going to be the one sent home regardless. After last night’s episode we now know why Chris N. was not getting much air time and it’s because Chris N. is a giant tool. I think the Bachelorette producers heard us all griping about the lack of air time for him and Tyler because both stepped it up a notch this round. Tyler was lovely. Chris N. could benefit from some lovely. Chris N. was about as entertaining as midnight mass.
When asked to describe what makes him silly and what his guilty pleasure was during his alone time with Ali, Chris N. thought hard before answering that he loves Mexican food…followed by awkward silence. After that weird conversation he confessed to the cameras that he was pretty certain he would be getting a rose.
But he didn’t.
He was the only guy sent packing from the rose ceremony.
Ali was sure Chris N. felt the lack of connection, but he was heart broken in the limo where he actually said that losing Ali is pretty much the worst thing that can happen to someone. Pause. Losing a girl on The Bachelorette is the worst thing that can happen to someone?
I mean is he for real?
Families are losing loved ones in the middle east, earthquakes and floods are devastating cities and entire countries, mothers are losing their children, fathers are dying of cancer, THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT IS SLOWLY DYING and this guy has the audacity to insinuate that being voted out of a contest to win a girl’s heart after meeting her less than a month ago could be ANYONE’S worst day??
A contest that nobody ever wins because no one ever marries and because newsflash Walter Cronkite, IT’S REALITY TELEVISION!! Part of me is extremely disturbed by his thoughtless comment…but a bigger part of me (my ass) is even more entertained. You know what Chris N.? If this is the worst you’ve been given than God bless ya kid! You go with your bad self!

I stand by my Chris L. and Roberto final two. I won’t hate Ali if she chooses Frank or Kirk at this point, but I personally would not choose either. Craig and Justin will go home next week. Because I say so. And Ty…is it Ty or Tyler? It doesn’t matter. He’ll be leaving soon too.

Roberto, Chris L and Kirk are going to be the 3 finalist. But damn MamaKat, now Im a little beside myself, every time I feel like I have a good Bachelorette post, you smoke me out of the water. Nice job and I cant stop laughing at your pictures.
Ok, now that I’m really watching the show I feel like I can comment. I’m invested and can’t let go now. So glad the wack-a-doo is gone and the quiet, dorky guy who can’t talk. I do like Frank, but think that he may be too intense and won’t be able to keep it together until the end. Roberto looks like a good roll in the hay, but I need to know more. Chris L. seems like a real guy, but I’ve been through a bi-coastal relationship and it’s hard (tho we ended up getting married). Kirk’s thing about the mold…I’m sorry, but I get weirder out by that shit. The others don’t do anything for me. A lawyer and a farm boy, just can’t do it. That is all.
Yeah what was that mold story all about? It just seemed like a weird thing to talk about, but I do think he seemed a little less full of himself at that point. Not sure what she was supposed to do with that information, but whatever I guess.
I. heart. your. pictures. and your captions! I can’t even begin to describe how deliriously happy the scene with Kasey made me, it gave me great big chuckles. And I’m not sure if I’ve ever witnessed a more awkard scene than the one with Chris N. describing how wacky he is. Uh……sure, if you say so! I did feel bad for him though, how could he not see the writing on the wall?
The poems…how did you not mention the poems? I couldn’t wait to see your take on their poetry this morning…sigh, guess I’ll have to laugh by my lone self on that count…though some of them were darn cute.
Oh the poems!! Totally forgot that part. I thought they were all awful except for Kirk’s…his was the winning one right? The rest seemed to be standing so far away, it was weird and awkward!
thank goodness you are doing my dirty work for me. because every time kasey talked i wanted to rip out my finger nails and scratch his eyeballs out with them.
roberto reminds me of this loser i used to know, so i hate him. and besides, he’s ethnic so there’s just a much smaller chance that the network will let ali pick him. gotta think about the target demographic here. i’m going with chris l. chris l. is white bread. and i didn’t mean he’s white, like caucasian. who am i kidding? that’s what i meant.
Frank’s eyes were tearing up when he had Ali aside. Big. Fat. Baby. I can’t STAND him. He’s like a Leprechaun. Or an Imp. Whichever is shiftier and more annoying.

I think Chris L gets better every week. I think Roberto, however hot he is, is fading out. It doesn’t seem like they talk all that much.
Oh my god, I almost busted a gut over the “I’m gonna guard and protect this lamp” photo. LOL!!! I think I’ve looked at it at least 8 times–it just keeps getting funnier and funnier. LOVE these updates!
I didn’t think this episode was that great. And I read Reality Steve so now things aren’t as exciting. ha! :) I’ll still watch….. will always watch..
I haven’t caved in and visited reality steve yet, so I have no idea what’s supposed to happen. I did accidentally hear two other spoilers, but each had a different outcome so I can still claim ignorance. I don’t want to know!

I think he needs to go back to Tenley. They were meant to be!
Personally I think she should hook up with Jake now that he broke up with Vienna.

Oh Jebbus. This show is entertaining for all the wrong reasons. I think she is going to end up with Roberto or Frank in the final two. I am dying to know who has the secret girlfriend. I’m guessing Justin. Since he is R-rated and all.

I’m with you on Justin and Craig next week. They showed that one of the guys has a girlfriend he’s been hiding, and I bet it’s one of those two, but I’m leaning towards Justin more.

Kasey (with a “K”) is sooooo lame! I’m so glad to have him off the show and on the side of some glacier in Iceland.
The guy who got sent home (see? Forgot his name already and don’t care enough to scroll up to find out) was trying to convince Ali how fun and funny he is…when you have to work that hard and someone still doesn’t believe you, you need to find another personality trait on which to focus.
Totally stand by Chris L. and Roberto still too. She is so insecure. I am beginning to think that she picks no one and is still a sad, lonely bachelorette.
I know, I cringed when she told Roberto she though he was too good looking for her! NEVER say that to a man. EVER.
DUDE, except when a man weighs less than me. I have NO problem rejecting a man for that reason. I mean, who needs that kind of confidence-kick-in-the-ass???
Ali DOES seem to have some self-confidence issues. She’s always worried that she needs to impress the guys or she’s not pretty enough for Roberto. You know, because guys never go for the skinny, bubbly, blondes! :-) And she’s apparently not dumb either. On Reality Steve today (don’t worry, I share NONE of the spoilers on my post), he said she had a 4.0 in college. Poor girl. She needs a life coach, not a dating show.
Kirk is really growing on me. Ty is…not staying much longer. I still pretty much know nothing about him, which is never good at this time.
Kasey, however, made me throw up in my mouth a little every time he talked.
Barely watching, and thinking of banning because she said, “supposably”, last night. HUGE (okay, really neurotic) pet peeve. Are we animals? The word is supposedly. She’s a moron. It’s why I am barely watching.

The clips for next week’s episode ellude that a coupla fellas might have a coupla girlfriends…or friends that are girls that they want to kiss a lot…back home. Hmmmm…it’s gonna get interesting… What do you think about the summer show coming called “Bachelor Pad”? I think it’s going to be some FAB TV to enjoy on a hot summer night with glass of Pinot…you?

Chris L makes me swoon. I agree with your top 2. I liked Frank in the beginning, but he’s a little strange.
That show gets worse every week! Kasey is so creepy, he needs to be on the no-fly list. Ali looked like she was falling asleep when Kirk was explaining his medical issues. Sweet girl, Ali. She had that same look during the poetry readings.

Oh, my. Looks like I’ve missed a bunch. I refuse to watch the Bachelor or -ette, It’s gotta all be staged/set up. I mean how could the Bachelor pick what’s her face ugly girl? I like your pick for this season…those 2 boys are the only 2 cute ones out there. What ever happened to the days when they were all hotties? Geez. I have other things I’d rather do….like Facebook. :)
Kasey waving goodbye on the glacier was one of the most pathetic things I’ve seen on reality tv in a LONG time, and I am an avid fan of Real Housewives of NYC and NJ. So that really says something.
Kirk is always cheering her on like a small child, “That’s sooooo goooood Ali”…. irritating as freaking hell. I can’t handle it. He is too much. And yah, his story his heart wrenching blah blah blah but I don’t care for him. Frank, irritates me.
Chris and Roberto to the final two… although I am seriously pulling hard for Roberto! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
i think the finale two would have to be chris L and roberto because they really love her and will protect her at all times i think that would be the finale two….. but i think roberto will win the whole thing
