This is annoying. I don’t know if ABC slipped up or what, but two weeks ago they showed previews for the “upcoming” episodes and pretty much gave everything away. We knew Kirk was going home this weekend because two week’s ago they showed Ali in Tahiti with Frank, Roberto, and Chris L.
So now nothing will interest me until I see Ali crying alone, cross legged, on the beach…just the way she left Jake mid season. Karma Ali. It sucks. I know.
To be fair, Kirk’s Dad didn’t help things by being himself…which is to say a little off his rocker. No way was Ali going to marry into the Taxidermist family. He coaxed Ali into a basement filled with dead animals and boasted about the hundreds he’d stuffed in his time.
Gross.
The other three home dates were exceptionally better than Kirk’s.
Roberto is my latin lover. His family is adorable, they dance in their living room, and Roberto’s dad is his biggest fan. Problem is, both Ali and Roberto’s dad aren’t sure she’s good enough for the big prize that is Roberto.
Let’s hope that is the case and she picks Chris L. because I can promise you if Roberto becomes next season’s Bachelor, I will leave Pat in a red hot minute and be the first divorced mother of three vying for that bachelor’s love.
Part of me wants to grab all my favorite books and head to Cape Cod to read them on Chris L.’s porch swing while cuddled up in a blanket with Jenny. His black lab. His home is straight out of a novel. His dad a wise, clearly heartbroken sweet old man and I just want to hug all of them. Even Jenny. Jenny and Rudy would make an amazing couple.
Let’s hope for our sake she picks Roberto to marry because if Chris L. becomes next season’s Bachelor, I will leave Pat in a red hot minute and be the first divorced mother of three vying for that bachelor’s love.
In fact, when Frank breaks Ali’s heart next week by flying to Tahiti to tell her about the girlfriend he’s still in love with, Ali will be left with a win/win. Chris L. versus Roberto.
She really can’t go wrong at the end of this thing. Either way she’s walking away with one of my picks and it looks like I’ll be leaving Pat to be the first divorced mother of three vying for the runner up bachelor’s love. Sweet.

Oh my gosh, Chris has been my favorite from the beginning. And I only saw the part where they were on his front porch and *I* was thinking that I might be a divorced mother of 2 vying for his affection next season!!? Mama Kat, it’s ooouuun!

I have another scenario. Since Chris L. and Roberto are obviously smitten with you (per your photo, above), why not start your own polyamorous sect, and keep ALL the men for yourself?

Gerard said right from the beginning it would be between Chris L. and Roberto. I don’t get Frank at all–what a goof. If he keeps having so many doubts, why doesn’t he just decline the rose instead of stringing her along like that? I agree, both those last two are good guys. A win-win situation for Ali either way.
He’s a giant insecure menstruating woman. He applies to be on a dating show with 25 other men…what does he expect!?!
Even though it sucked to know ahead of time, it’s dampened by the fact that Frank is going to go home at some point, and we won’t have to deal with his insecurities anymore. I don’t know what she sees in him… And I’m rooting for Chris L, because his home is so, well, homey… and he is super hot!
There’s an awkward shyness that is SO endearing about him too! I love it.
Love it…I’m starting to think Frank may be gay though (not that there’s anything wrong with that). It’s just a feeling.

No I’m with you on that! There were a couple moments this past Monday…some movements he made that sent my gay-dar through the rood as well.
I don’t know…perhaps it was just the women’s v neck he was wearing.

Seriously though…what is with the wife beaters under the cardigans. Is that a *good* look? I think not. As much as I like Chris, I didn’t think Ali was kissing him with as much passion (hate that word…so dramatic) as he was her…does that make sense? I need to get a life!!!
I’m with you on the word “passion”…so dramatic and completely over used…as are the words “amazing” and “most dramatic rose ceremony”.

Me and my mother-in-law watched it on DVR last night and we both want her to pick Chris! He is so sweet and nice and is really into her! Roberto is cute, but I think she just has a crush on him and not real love.

So i totally thought ABC was sneaky a couple of weeks ago and plugged in Ty’s southern accent as they previewed the Tahiti week. I had thought the final 3 after that was Frank, Roberto..mmmmm, and Ty. So luckily for me, the last couple of weeks have still been a big shocker to me.

Ohh I agree that Chris is a hottie, I’d pick him but for some reason I see Ali picking Roberto because she’s always kissing him no matter what and always in his arms and just the little stuff.

I can’t believe ABC showed us the scenes for two weeks ahead! Ugh! We all knew what was going to happen at the rose ceremony. I have to say though, it was refreshing to see her actually shed tears…not wiping away nonexistent ones! My friend and I think she will pick Roberto because she is so infatuated with him and thinks he is out of her league. My husband and I both agree that Chris would be the best man in general because he seems so loyal and family oriented…he would be a great bachelor but I would be screaming at the TV if all the girls on there were stupid because he deserves someone great!

I agree this week we knew what was going on in terms of Kirk going home – I am wondering why they are giving away so much in the previews. I do not read spoilers so to have the show giving them away is crazy but since it comes from the show I don’t mind as much!

I think Roberto is so much more than just a hot Latin lover. He seems to have real substance and be humble but confident, too. I like Chris, but to be honest he doesn’t seem very smart. Maybe he’s just not a great talker, but he’s got a lot going on underneath. I don’t know. He’s super sweet and will definitely make a great husband, but I don’t know if he’s sharp enough for Ali.

Ok, this post is awesome! I just finished watching this week’s episode online (I’m a little slow, I know) and I have to agree with everything you said, except for the part where they pick you because you will have to beat me back with a stick! She really is a lucky girl. Chris and Roberto do both seem like winners!!

I keep watching this season, then I keep thinking to myself, I just don’t care about these guys… I can barely tell them apart.
The only guy I could tell apart were the weatherman and the wrestler, so they obviously were kicked off. :( I liked the weather guy.

Decisions, decisions!!! Roberto or Chris L? Chris L or Roberto? I keep looking for Ali to wear the Dennis bracelet on a non-Chris L date…just a clue, a hint, an inkling…a “something” that will tell me who the winner is… Any by “winner” I totally mean the next Bachelor, not Ali’s husband.
FYI…I am MOST certain that once you are a Bachelor contestant Ellen will totally have you as a guest on her show…so now it’s a win-win-WIN situation for our dear Mama Kat :-)

I have been hoping she picks Chris L from the beginning, but now, more than ever, I think he’d be too awkward to the Bachelor. He’s too goofy, in a very, very awesome way.
I don’t watch the Bachelorette *don’t shoot!*, but I read a lot about it because Frank is from the town next to me and it’s all the papers can talk about.
I know. The Tahiti preview thing kind of ticked me off. I think Bye-bye Frank. Chris or Roberto would be great but I have a bad, bad feeling she won’t pick either. She’s terribly fickle and she’s going to have some hellacious wrinkles between her eyes if she keeps the frowning going on.
