Social Media Event: Molen Orthodontics

Next weekend I have the opportunity to speak on blogging and social media at a Washington State orthodontics clinic. It’s amazing how much information us bloggers have that people would love to tap into.

My brother sat me down at Christmas and was all “so I’ve been encouraged to start a ‘blog’ for my company and I’m not sure what to do…have you heard of…Wordpush?” and then later “Well I guess I’ll need to get on The Twitter and write some things then? Would you say that’s a good idea?”

Crazy to think when many of us started blogging the etiquette and language was just as foreign to us. Many of us have been lovingly teased by friends and family who think our online diaries are ‘cute’, but don’t really ‘get it’. I love that the rest of the world has caught on.
