That’s so cool..a Kitten!!
Ive always wanted a kitten. Still waiting though!
What a great gift! Glad you got your wish but sorry your mom got rid of it after just two years. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Thanks for providing us great writing prompts all year!!
Aww, I’m very jealous! I’d love to have a cat one day, it’s pretty much impossible when living in a rental property though :(
Merry Christmas! x
Love this! I’m not much of a cat person, but my friend had a similar cat (white fur with blue eyes) that I adored. It’s nice when our Christmas wishes come true, isn’t it?
So jealous – I had to wait to get a cat when I moved away to college. I guess my mom didn’t really love me all that much. sob. ;) xo
I love it when moms find a way to surprise us with what we really really wanted. Unfortunately, I never did get my pony. Guess it wouldn’t fit in a basket under a chair. Or in the back yard.
I got a kitten one year, too… then found out I was allergic and wound up in the hospital. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
(The poop doesn’t seem so bad anymore, does it?)
We got a cat one Christmas, too…my mom was sneaky!
thats cool…I’m still waiting for my kitten. I’ve always wanted one…a gray one. Wish my husband like cats so we can get one.
She gave it away two years later?!?! Ahaha! That is both really funny and really sad.
Beautiful kitty in the picture. I am partial to cats too!
There’s always a twist! :) I’m glad you go what you wanted.
aaaww…cute wittle kitty :)
My kids would love to have a cat … but we’d have to get rid of Daddy. That’s just not an option! :) Merry Christmas!
I always wanted a kitten too, but my parents wouldn’t budge. So I began pretending my stuffed kitten was real – to the point of taking it for regular “walks” around the neighbourhood. You’d think this behaviour would have embarrassed my parents into caving, but no dice.
On the other hand, I got to keep my stuffed kitten for longer than 2 years, which probably wouldn’t have happened with a real one…I think my mom and yours had the same mindset about pooping in the house.
Love that you got your wish. That is what makes Christmas so amazing! Sorry it didn’t work out though.
I am not really a cat person, but I can understand longing for something and getting surprised with it. The pooping in the house is why I don’t like cats so much!
How cute! What a sweet story. And you look too adorable on this video. This is why I don’t do vlogs. My nasal voice and mess of a self. Nah! You do them for me. ;)
I think that fluffy, little white, blue-eyed kitties are just beautiful! We had one last year that sadly disappeared. His name was Vain and he is featured in my avatar.
Thank you for sharing the story of your kitty. I’m sorry you didn’t get to keep it, but glad that you were able to have it for the time that you did. Merry Christmas!
