I used to nanny a chatty little girl named Ellie. She was three years old with the personality of a feisty 80 year old woman. She had a squeaky little voice and an opinion about everything. When I meet kids like that I’m intrigued, mostly about their parents, because I have not been able to create a child like this of my own and I really want to know what the secret is. Take a look at these little YouTube stars:
This little girl is getting ready to attempt her first ski jump and her dialogue to prepare for it is adorable:

This little guy just rode a bike without training wheels for the first time and has something to say to kids across America:

And of course there’s Jessica’s Daily Affirmations:

The little girl that did the ski jump is very brave. No way could have done that.

Feisty and chatty?? All in the genetics I believe. My sister in law’s kids are quiet as mice, but mine are off the wall. Not as in bad behavior, but my 3 year old has as much personality as Betty White, and we have to be really careful what we expose her to. She’s very sweet, but I’m awaiting the day where she hits that 4 year old sassy stage. It’ll be all over then.

Our grandson Seth is one of those kids – he thinks about things, and is curious and very chatty. Conversations with him are a joy.
Recently, he helped me bake a cake, and determined that we used 3 eggs (which I let him crack) because he is 3 years old.
I think my favorite video was the one about being kind – everyone needs to watch that one, especially the adults.

Chatty kids are the absolute best. THanks!

I especially like the skiing kid. I am not sure I could have got the nerve to do that. :)

Oh wow. That little girl on the ski jump is inspiring! And the little girl with the message to be kind should be required viewing every morning. And the little girl with the daily affirmation? Well, she needs to come live in my house and teach me how to pump myself up like that every morning!
Susan in the Boonies says
That first video scared the wee wee out of me.
