My friends tease me that I’m a cat lady taking the wrong path in life and that my husband and kids saved me from a destiny of a cat filled life. If it weren’t for them I’d be a single gal with an office job and 30 cats. Probably a knitter. Sometimes I allow myself to dream of such a heaven.
As it is we have two cats and they were forced to become outdoor/garage kitties due to Kainoa’s allergies. I considered transitioning Kainoa into an outdoor/garage boy, but feared repercussions should anyone find out.
Since I can’t have the 30 cats AND the children I’vel settled for YouTube videos of other people and their cats.

This reunion of a 12 year old boy and his 11 year old cat that had gone missing for 12 days is SO sweet. The boy had been devastated for the lost cat and after a woman responded to a Lost poster his mom and dad surprised him:
You may have seen this video of a mama cat pulling her baby in for a snuggle when the baby quivers in its sleep. It’s had over 40 million views on YouTube! I love seeing animals take care of their babies just the way we do…I wonder if they slap their kids upside the head the way we do too:

AWWWW the one of the boy made me all teary eyed. I am an animal person. I trust an animal farther than I do any person. I have always had an animal in my life even in childhood. We are trying to get some puppies a good home currently..
Oh that last one was so sweet! One of our cats was a stray and came to us pregnant. As a result, she never got a proper name. Her name is still Mommy Cat. Anyway, she had 7 kittens and I loved watching her care for them. She was such a good mother and so tender with them I couldn’t believe it. We found good homes for all but one who didn’t want to leave mom so we kept him too. But I know what you mean about being in danger of becoming a cat lady. I had 5 at one time. Now I have 3. Thank God for kids!
I love the video of the mama hugging the kitten! I still consider myself a dog person, but my boyfriend and I have a cat, and I honestly love that she is so independent, but it would be nice to have a dog that is excited for me to come home. Cats just don’t do that.

We have 3 cats. I grew up with at least 2 in my home at all times as well as a dog. We don’t have a dog right now, but I’m working on that! =)
Are you certain you aren’t a crazy cat lady as you’ve just posted three youtube videos of cats? Which I did not watch as a dog person. =)
This is SO timely… we are getting new kittens today! I love kittens and cats. And who knows, maybe I will make the next viral kitten video.

I am a cat person. Currently have one BIG boy orange tabby. My husband wants a dog, though. We’re currently in talks.
We were crazy cat people for 17 years when they all got sick and were in kitty heaven. I miss them so much. Now we’re Clayton people (dog) but someday, I will be a cat lady again! The Hubby is not a cat person!
I love kittie cats, but can’t have any due to my husband and son’s allergies. My doggies get all the tender love and kisses that some women channel into baby lust.
