Thank you for reminding me that when my daughter is telling me something I find non-important, she is showing me that she loves and trusts me enough to share her deepest thoughts. And THAT is important.
Love that. My daughter is right in that in-between age (11) where she may still say something like that and then an hour later come in the room crying about weird friendship issues. It’s a minefield. Can’t wait for full teen life!
