Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers

Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers are my new (to me) favorite YouTube bands. I don’t subscribe to many music channels on YouTube. YouTube subscriptions read like a Google Reader for blogs. When I log in all the videos of people I subscribe to appear on a dashboard. And since I don’t have a ton of time to spend on YouTube, I try to reserve subscriptions for channels that make me laugh. But these guys are SO talented, I just can’t get enough.

Here are some of my favorite songs they’ve covered:

Lionel Richie’s Easy like Sunday Morning:

Whitney Houston’s How Will I Know:

Linda Ronstadt’s You’re No Good:

I could listen to them all day.

Do you have a favorite YouTube music video?

They are impressive! Very 60s/70s vibe going on there and their music is so pure and untampered with by machines. Plus, they’re actually driving – ’cause you know everyone sings better in the shower and in the car!

This gives me hope that all the singing in my car is just a rehearsal for stardom.

Sigh…I don’t sound like that when I’m driving around. Maybe it’s because I’m missing back ups? Thanks for sharing this! How in the world did you find this? Love them! No favorite videos for me…love lots! =)
