Vlogging Workshop: DIY Viral Ornament

Welcome to this week’s pretty much world famous Vlogging Workshop powered by MomPulse! Today’s prompts are:

1.) There are so many awesome DIY Christmas crafts. Choose one and vlog your creation! (inspired by Jenny on the Spot)
2.) Show us the most problematic area of your house? (inspired by The Mama Mary Show)
3.) If you could get away for a kid free vacation, where would you go? (inspired by The Go-To Mom)
4.) What are three things everyone should know about you?
5.) If you could do your wedding over, how would you do it?

Choose one, create a video, and link up!

This week I re-created a pin you may have seen bouncing around Pinterest, originally created by Tsuki from Little Gray Fox. One of her creations was a sprinkle filled ornament and I thought it looked like something I could tackle. I also created an amazing ornament for my husband and shared some tips on how to make YOUR next DIY ornament go viral on Pinterest. Super easy:

Today I’m featuring The Mama Mary Show! I’m pretty sure anyone who can bring her viewers to tears in a video about music on her ipod deserves some kind of award! Try to not to well up in this one:

Whoo hoo! I love vlogging, but holy cow, did I have a hard time choosing a prompt this week!

MK – your chili powder ornament is amazing! Sure hope that’s shatter proof glass!

Awesome ornament tutorial. Maybe next time try it with a little funnel. ;)

I get Mary. Those things always take us by surprise.

I’m celebrating something big today so my vlog has a little something extra.

You make that look so easy. I am gonna find some legos chop them up and make an ornament.

What could be hard about that.

Love your ornaments. You are a Pinterest pinner-person I can relate to. And loved Mary’s vlog about her dad. Am in Florida right now with my Dad in hospital. It is those memories that linger with us all through our time here on earth. And to Mary — I saw this documentary of the World Championship of Ragtime in Peoria, IL. It was awesome. http://youtu.be/rnIW_8CxIb0

Loved the ornaments. If you use honey instead of glue, you can probably eat the stuff inside later too.

Once I took a hollow glass lamp and stuffed it full of stuff before putting the top back on. I think the lamp is still in my son’s room somewhere under a heaping pile of laundry (14 year old peril). Great post. M

You and I should start a DIY channel since I can tell you and I are similar in our craftiness. Love the chili powder idea. Wonder if I can do that with Tapatio sauce? And thanks for featuring my dad video! That one sure took me by surprise. xo
