Today I’m sharing the official LEGO Channel on YouTube that offers programming our kids love while providing parents with some peace of mind when it comes to allowing our kids to spend time online.
YouTube can be a scary place when you have kids who are reaching an age where they can navigate the internet, but are still too impressionable to be left alone to their own devices. I love seeing brands like LEGO step up to create channels that I can feel safe leaving my kids to watch. This means I can give my kids a little bit of video watching freedom while feeling secure in knowing the next videos that come up will be from the LEGO playlist that I created myself.
My son is in love with the LEGO city videos: (video here)
Sure beats what I’ve been making for them.
The videos are also available on mobile devices, so on days like today, when my son decided he didn’t need a nap…I could flip on his favorite videos from the LEGO Channel on my phone and he stayed content while the rest of the daycare kids slept.
The quick and easy directions on how to create your own LEGO Channel playlist:
1. Visit Youtube.com/LEGO and browse the fun videos.
2. Click on ‘Video Options’.
3. Select ‘Add to Playlist’.
4. Sign-in using your YouTube login if you’re not already signed in.
5. Add your selected video to an existing playlist or create a new one.
