About a year ago I complained that most of the links I click on Pinterest were going to dead ends or Tumblr sites. Let me tell you just how unhelpful this is when just seconds before I had fallen deeply in love with a sweater and now there’s no way to find and purchase it. Is it too much to ask that this merchandise actually link to a place that sells said merchandise? Apparently so.
I have fallen deeply in love with The Prowl. They approached me to check out the site and to spend a few weeks navigating it and I feel like my early prayers for Pinterest were finally answered by The Prowl.
Similar to Pinterest in the sense that you have boards and can “prowl”, like, and “re-prowl” items in your stream. But unique in the sense that EVERY item can actually be purchased! You won’t find yourself falling down a Tumblr rabbit hole on The Prowl because it’s a community operated by other helpful shoppers.
You can also ask and answer questions based on your interests. Whether you need help finding, styling, designing, or just plain obsessing over something all you have to do is open a question to the community and other members chime in with suggestions. It’s like shopping with your friends from the comfort of your yoga pants.
For example, when Maile’s birthday approached earlier this month I asked for help finding tween inspired gift ideas. She’s graduated from the young girl Barbie type toys and is really interested into more mature things like journal writing and jewelry. I asked the community to help me find it and voila…my board of tween gift ideas had begun!
Sponsored or not, I’m a huge fan now and would love for you to shop with me! Check The Prowl and if you start an account follow me…I’ll follow you back and we can pine together over shoes and Christmas gifts!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of The Prowl. The opinions and text are all mine. Now let’s go shopping!
