Vlogging Workshop: Turkey Shaped Fruit Platter

1.) Bake us a Thanksgiving pie! (kind of)

Don’t you hate it when you make a video that you think is answering one of this week’s prompts, but actually isn’t at all? Here’s the thing though, I DID do a cocktail video, but it was geared towards Christmas. I don’t know why. I also did a Thanksgiving side dish video because for the past two years in a row I’ve brought an item to Thanksgiving dinner at my Mom’s house and NOBODY has touched it. You should see me try to cajole my family into TAKING A BITE of sweet potato casserole. I can’t believe I was raised with such uncultured Neanderthals that can’t even bring themselves to fake interest in my dish!

This year I decided a turkey shaped fruit platter would certainly win me some fans at our Thanksgiving table. So this video is like the “bake a Thanksgiving pie”…only minus the pie or the baking. Take a look at the process involved in piecing this monster together:

And I’m featuring Kelly from Muddy Flowers who vlogged about some very interesting Thanksgiving tips. My favorite was the surprise phone call from her Grandma who had her own bit of advice to add:
