3.) Santa pictures!
To determine whether or not Santa is real, Maile left him a letter asking him to answer two important questions.
#1 What is Mrs. Claus’s full name (first, middle, last)
#2 What are your favorite cookies.
I’m not sure how knowing Santa’s favorite cookies was going to help her determine his existence, but it’s a valid question nevertheless. I’m just glad she didn’t ask him to stand in front of the Christmas tree and take a selfie, because that would have been a little more difficult to flub. Mrs. Claus was easy…Mary Lynn Claus. Which I made up. I have no idea where she stands at this point. I did share a letter with her about how Santa exists in the magic of Christmas and that us parents help keep that magic alive every year.
She just looked at me like, “Magic say what? Stop speaking RIDDLES and just tell me!!”
When Kainoa heard her say she didn’t believe in Santa, he was all, “you don’t believe in Santa? We just SAW him!!!”
But it doesn’t really matter because believe in the magic or not, we will be taking Santa pictures forever.

Thanks for sharing. I find it hilarious that in some of the pictures Santa is looking not-so-thrilled! Guess even Santa gets tired of having his picture taken! Enjoy the rest of your holiday season!

These are adorable children in adorable pics when Santa. Even the ones where are clearly thrilled with being in his presence. Believe in Santa? Who cares? It’s the pics that matter most.

There are a couple years in there where your Santa looks sort of like a serial killer. I’m sure it’s just a bad angle or something.

Santa pictures are priceless. Your kids’ faces! You eventually started getting some pictures where everyone was smiling!

I think the crying ones are almost always my favorite. =) We didn’t even do them this year. Or last year that I can remember…

I love seeing the evolution of Santa pictures.

Ahh that moment when they are on the cusp of disbelief but you need them to hang on for the younger ones behind them. It is a hard place to be for us and them. Love the pictures, my kids may have taken Santa pictures 2 or 3 times in their lives. We were just never that into it. But I love looking at other people’s kids doing it.. some of them crack me up.

I had a friend who was doing photos for parents. You send him a picture of your tree and he photoshopped Santa in. That’s always an option.

Those are awesome….not sure which is my favorite….the one where they’re all crying…or the one where they all look mad!

I love Santa pics! And I especially love looking back at the old ones from over the years. I always wanted one with my kids screaming on Santa’s knee, but I never got one!
