My son will be starting an online workshop on saving money that will help your kids learn about the value of a dollar.

As he should.

My son is saving for “Mickey’s House” (Disneyworld). I’m down with that. But ice cream sounds good, too.

My kids usually give up on saving money and make me take them to the Dollar Store so they can blow their wad on things I through away or they ingest in the following 24 hours. We may have a thing or two to learn.

Brilliant boy! Personally, I’d go for the ice cream. But what do I know?

Also, I really hope you already have a call out to CNBC on getting him his own show.

I’d follow that blog…because I need all the help I can get.

When he was nine I had my son convinced to start saving his pennies for a car.

Now that he’s twelve he spends every dollar he can on video game network cards and soft pretzels at the school cafeteria. Clearly I dropped the ball on his financial education the last three years.
