Vlogging Workshop: My First Stitch Fix

3.) Review something…anything.

YouTube is filled with vloggers who “unbox” monthly subscriptions. I haven’t been rich enough to dedicate myself to a fee every month just to open a box of sampler products, but I do enjoy watching other people do it! It’s nice because they’ll go through a box, show you everything that’s inside, pick out a product in it they LOVE and then I can go out and buy that one product and forget the whole box. This month I did get sucked into trying one out though. The company is called Stitch Fix and the idea is that you go to the site, fill out a profile of the types of clothes you like, and they select five items to send you. If you like any of the items, you pay for them. If you don’t like them, you send them back.

Pros: A box of clothes shows up at your house! You might discover items you love but never would have tried on your own! The $20 styling fee you paid for the box to be sent will go towards any item(s) you purchase! You don’t have to commit to a monthly subscription!

Cons: If you don’t like any of the items, you forfeit your $20 styling fee (boo). If you like ALL of the items it will cost you $200+ (boo). You only have three days to return your items or you have to pay for all of them (a costly mistake!)

All that to say…I had to try it! Here’s my review of my first Stitch Fix unboxing, take a look at what I got!:

And I’m featuring Bunny Whoops from last week’s entries, partly because I’ve always wanted to try one of these chocolate cake mugs and partly because I wish my name were Bunny Whoops. Cake doesn’t get much easier than this!:

Check out Bunny Whoops on YouTube and consider subscribing!

Glad you liked something well enough to keep it–I liked that striped top except I think the stripes on the sleeve should have matched. That return envelope looks kind of small for ALL those items.

Clothes to your door could be fun. Your eyes popped with the blue dress thing but I like the sweater you chose as well. I may have to try this (I say in a sing-song voice)!

Stitch Fix seems awesome, but if you are a size 14/XL that they say they style up to. They will send you an email afterward telling you that you are too big to fit into their clothing and better luck somewhere else.

Somewhere I have a $20 credit that I was given and couldn’t use. If I find it, I’ll shoot you the code.

Glad you found a cardigan that you like and that royal blue color of the dress looked fabulous on camera.

Also, loved all your cardigan cameos.

    Great video.
