HOLA Senoritas!
Today we are celebrating Cinco De Mayo Coronita Style! I was inspired to make this drink because Pat orders it every time we go to the Rainforest Cafe and it seemed like something I would be able to recreate.
“Seemed” would be the operative word here because wouldn’t you know it can be a little bit tricky tilting a Corona into a margarita for the desired effect?:

Cheers and enjoy your Cinco De Monday!

wow…never seen the drink but it looks cool! I would never be able to make it…if you can’t…I wouldn’t even try! LOL
Mama Kat says
They’re way cooler looking at the restaurants. You’ll have to keep a look out!
Julia says
They make these at Margaritaville too, so tasty but I think I’ll leave it to the pros to make mine.
Mama Kat says
Oh come on! I officially invite you over for happy hour next week. I’m sure I can nail it on round 2!
Stacey says
It sounds like a great drink…but I’d never manage to make that on my own either ;)
Mama Kat says
I think it’s do able! I just need a much bigger glass…or maybe a snack sized Corona bottle.
Leigh says
You make me laugh! So. Funny.

This is one of my favorite drinks – we call it a Beergarita. I did not realize that these drinks could be made so complex. They don’t have to be. Mix it all up in a pitcher and go to town! We use tequila, sprite, frozen limeade, and Corona in ours.
