3.) Book review!

I read a book! My seventh actually so far this year. I’m on a role and I’m going to tell you exactly what The Fault In Our Stars is about and what I thought of it. This review is for people who don’t actually plan on reading the book because I really do tell you exactly what happens. If you plan on reading it, DON’T watch the video:

(video here)

And this week I have to feature Jendi because there was a strange donkey loose in her yard and when you have a loose donkey in your yard it automatically moves you up on the YouTube playlist:

Swing over to YouTube and subscribe to Jendi!

It’s your turn!

1.) Teach us something.
2.) Cook something.
3.) Book review!
4.) Show us a project you’re working on.
5.) Free Day! Link up any video you haven’t previously shared in a Vlogging Workshop.

Get a jump start on next week’s video! Here are the prompts next Wednesday’s Link up:

1.) Create a video inspired by Memorial Day.
2.) React to a current event making the news this week!
3.) Taste test! Make a video of yourself trying something new.

I agree…the sex part was…awkward and I really didn’t want to be reading it. And I cried and cried even though I swore I wouldn’t!

I feel like such an old lady, because yes I thought it was really awkward and really unnecessary. I guess maybe for younger readers it might add an element of excitement? I felt like their relationship was beautiful without having to take it that extra step. A sweet story regardless.

Its weird, isn’t it – how this horrible depressing book has everyone in a frenzy. I’m one of them. I loved the book. I also suffer from depression & want everyone else to join me.

Totally! I feel bad encouraging people to read a book that will inevitably make them feel terribly sad, but I can’t do this by myself! ;)

I am not sure that I am in the mood to read a depressing book. Hmm….maybe I can throw it in way down on my TBR pile or…
…just wait for the movie.
I dunno.

Maybe I will just go fingerpaint instead. ;)

I loved the book, but I think the awkward sex scene between teenagers probably could have been left out :) I’m a glutton for punishment, so I love to pick up books that will inevitably turn me into a bawling mess. This one was no exception :)

Thanks for featuring me! I didn’t know that a donkey would bump me up the playlist. LOL
