I Will Never Let My Child…

Last week on Mommalogues we were asked to complete the sentence “I will never let my child…”

I had a hard time with this topic because so far everything I swore I would never let my children do…I have LET my children do.

But I finally came up with something that I feel pretty certain I’ll truly never cave on. When I saw the other women were responding to this topic with things like “use disrespectful words“, “forget where they came from” and “bully another child“, I realized my answer was a little off the beaten path:

(video here)

Is there anything you will never let your child do?

Haaaaaaaahhhhhh! Scouts? I totally agree with you about not selling cookies but only cos I’d be buying them all myself to eat! But to me camping = one night of peace to do whatever I wanted to do like drink cups of tea or weird fishbowl cocktail thingeys without being bugged.

Um, I will never let my child run while juggling machetes.

I never joined the Girl Scouts as a child and I think I turned out okay. Emphasis on the ‘I think’. :)

ME TOO! For all the reasons you listed, and because I’m just not a joiner. I’m more of a stay-at-home hermit type. And so shall my children be, lol

All the things I said I would never let my children do? They’ve done them all. They are wily, sneaky beasts.

I’m no longer positive the place you’re getting your info, however
great topic. I needs to spend a while finding out more or understanding more.

Thank you for great info I used to be in search of this information for my mission.
