Last month I mentioned we were fostering a rescue Greyhound named Manny and this month I’m sorry to announce my love affair with that dog has come to an end. He found his forever home. Manny was adopted. It’s a good thing. His new Mom sent me pictures a video to ensure I knew how great he’s doing in his new environment. And maybe to also ensure I don’t ask Jill to call them up and beg for him back. It worked. He’s loving his new home and we’re getting ready for round two:

Aw, you did a wonderful job fostering Manny but it has to be hard letting go of a great dog who you came to love having in your home. Don’t know if I could do that, but I’m sure Manny will be forever grateful to you for finding him a good home. I like greyhounds too.

Awwwwww, sweet Manny. I love that you foster. We’re fostering a coon hound puppy now. I’ve had her for almost two months, and I’m very much dreading her adoption.

Oh my goodness, a coon hound puppy!!! It will be hard to let him go especially after all the work you put into training him!
