Kelly Clarkson recently responded to a negative slam about her weight by saying, ““She’s tweeted something nasty about me? That’s because she doesn’t know me, I’m awesome! It doesn’t bother me. It’s a free world. Say what you will. I’ve just never cared what people think,” she continued. “It’s more if I’m happy and I’m confident and feeling good, that’s always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don’t seek out any other acceptance.”
Amen!
From the gal who flips you off on the freeway for merging too slowly, to the random Internet commenter calling you the devil’s spawn (okay that one’s personal), if they’re not in the inner circle…they don’t get a vote.
Let’s not forget that.

You know whose business someone’s weight is?
Theirs.
Nobody has any right to be mocking, hating on, or concern trolling another person about the size and shape of their body.
The whole business of size shaming has gotten well and away out of hand. People come in different shapes and sizes. All of them are just fine.
There’s nothing wrong with Kelly Clarkson.
There is something wrong with the brainwashed individuals being nasty to her about her weight.
The multi billion dollar diet industry has trained us all to hate ourselves, and it’s time we stopped. Diets don’t work. If they did, the diet industry would go out of business.
I wish it hadn’t taken me until I was 45 years old to realize this, but better late than never.
