My kids are attracted to candy.
They come by it very naturally.
My Mom hid king sized Hershey chocolate bars (with almonds) in our kitchen cupboards right next to her Raisinets.
I don’t care for almonds or raisins.
But the chocolate is worth the struggle, so I snuck them anyway.
To offset my kids desire for all things sugar I try to sneak healthy food into their meals as often as possible. I love to take them to the Farmer’s Market so that they can be a little more involved in that process. I teamed up with SheKnows and Dairy Pure this month to develop a fun little trivia game to play with your kids at the Farmer’s Market. It’s basically a scavenger hunt to get your kids to help you find all the good stuff.
The goal is to help my kids find nutrition that is not coated in a layer of chocolate.
I feel like I just offended chocolate covered raisins.

Mmmmm chocolate…that is what the post was about right?? ;)

Let’s face it. None of us can fight the attraction to chocolate.

That farmer’s market scavenger hunt sounds brilliant. I think I know what we are doing this weekend!

You’ll have to let me know how it goes. I love getting my kids involved with our shopping…someday I’d like to see them take over altogether. ;)
