We’re prepping for New Year’s Eve over here and while a crazy night on the town sounds lovely, the reality is I spend my New Year’s Eve home with the kids. I actually quite enjoy it. We eat dinner in, play board games, make snacks and watch the ball drop. We blow whistles and bells at midnight and then I tuck everyone into beds. What more could I ask for?
To help me prep this week I was inspired to have a little fun with the Betty Crocker® Sugar and Peanut Butter cookie mix I picked up at Walmart (coupons here). Since my kids love to help in the kitchen and these cookie mixes are so easy, I set them up for a bit of a cookie baking contest. What would the verdict be if they baked both cookie mixes and taste tested them? My son and his friend were perfect for the job, take a look!:

Obviously I benefited most in this scenario, not only because the Betty Crocker cookie mix kept my kids busy for an afternoon but also because I now have two platters of cookies to snack on this New Year’s Eve. Betty Crocker® is all about finding a way to spread cheer with simple surprises! I’d say we accomplished that this week. Surprise, all of the cookie mixes are delicious!
