3. Share a pro tip or life hack.
I think I uploaded a pro tip to YouTube this week without even realizing I was sharing one. One of my pet peeves when I pop around and read blog posts or watch videos, is when the blogger or YouTuber apologizes to the masses for either taking a break or not publishing on a day when we’re used to seeing them publish. I think when your brain is in constant content creation mode, we sometimes feel guilty when (gasp) we don’t create content. I do understand that when you monetize some of your work, there is some pressure to maintain certain numbers in order to ensure those paid opportunities do not disappear. That being said, sometimes it’s nice to be reminded that you’re the boss of your own space, you make your own rules, and by God if you want to bend them a bit or take a break, then you should be able to do so with a clear mind. No apologies. You’re an adult now, you can do whatever the hell you want to do.
So now you don’t have to watch the video:
