4.) Show us what your kids want to be for Halloween this year.
Kainoa has been begging for a grim reaper costume this year. I don’t know where he got the idea, but we’re talking head to toe black gown, black hood, black face covering, black pants, and glowing red eyes.
I was like “Kainoa you don’t even wear pants let alone this entire garb.”
And he was all, “but it’s for Halloween!”
And I was all, “Kainoa every year I get you a costume and you barely touch it. You always end up wearing regular clothes.”
And he was all, “Nooooo that’s not true.”
And I was all, “You hate dressing up for Halloween. You end up wearing street clothes trick or treating every time. I don’t even remember what you were last year.”
And he was all, “I WAS A CHEESEBURGER!”
And I was all, “You wore a hat!”
And he was all, “Come on mom, I really want to be the grim reaper.”
And I was all, “okay fine. But if you end up as a street kid with glowing eyes I’m going to put your costume on and I’m coming after you.”

I’m with Kainoa. I hated putting on a costume for Hallowe’en, and stopped doing it at my earliest covenience.

I love it when a kid is that confident to just be like “look, I see you all like this, but I don’t and I’m not going to be talked into doing for all the candy in the world. Nope.”

OMG, this is hilarious. I’m literally laughing out loud at, “I WAS A CHEESEBURGER!” and then… the photo.
Yeah, it’s only a hat.
Mama Kat says
A HAT!!! lol! Seriously he cracks me up.

Adorable year after year. I can not get into Halloween at all. Each year my kids had to work very hard to get me pumped up enough to pull together three presentable costumes. What I wouldn’t have given for a son like Kainoa!

LOL I’d like an update on whether he actually wears that grim reaper outfit or goes with the “normal boy” outfit.
