6. 10 things you would do if you didn’t have to work.
I happen to be way more productive on days where I spread myself too thin. When I know I don’t have time to dilly dally around I get all the things done. On the otherhand, when I DO have all the time in the world…I get to things…”later.” I procrastinate, I shuffle around and ultimately I get very little done. My productive self thinks that if I did not have a job I might…
1. Have all the time in the world to clean my house everyday! It would sparkle!
2. Walk my dogs daily and enjoy the fact that I am not in any rush at all to get back to work.
3. Become a runner! I could so easily schedule in exercise if I was not working.
4. Foster all the puppies and kittens and just spend time everyday swimming in an ocean of them.
5. Shop ’til I drop! I could even go in the middle of the week when the crowds have not hit the stores.
6. I love making videos for YouTube. I would have all the time in the world to film and edit to my heart’s desire.
7. Meet up with friends for coffee and good times!
8. Why not become a leisure photographer. I like taking pictures!
9. I would be the best mom because I would have all the time and energy to focus on making sure my kids knew I was present and available and on top of things.
10. I would have no trouble scheduling all of my appointments. I might actually get in to see the dentist and get my hair cut with time to spare!
But I know me. I know that the minute I have free time, all of my productivity is flushed down the toilet and I’ll spend every extra minute more like this:

The girl in #10 look like she’s going to a royal wedding.
The one with the shopping cart looks like it’s from “Supermarket Sweep.” I was talking to someone else about this: Have you ever wanted to just take your time at the grocery store, walk down every aisle and look at everything? Probably take a couple of hours, but it’d be worth it.
Do you actually make the GIFs, or just get them off Giphy? Just curious…

HA! This was fun. And that “hair hat” – who comes up with this stuff!
I agree, I need to work to keep my butt off the couch and the straws out my mouth…
Gi says
@John – my husband does EXACTLY that at the grocery store…walking down every aisle, looking at every single item.
@Kat – I know exactly what you mean – I would have good intentions but….the reality is I usually wouldn’t follow through with them…

I’m like you….my productive days are when I’m working. I always think of how much I *could* get done if I didn’t have to work, but chances are I’d get nothing done – and just be a lot less tired doing nothing. I like to enjoy my days off work by doing as little as possible!

Read this over and over, mainly because I’m off today and almost have all the time in the world.
Almost.
The husband is home. “What’s for lunch?”, “Have you seen my phone?”, “I can’t find the dog’s rain poncho!”
Decided that I would love to do two from your photo list. Shop till I drop and sit in a comfy chair surrounded by books. Oh yesssss!
“Hey Patty, I just did something and a warning popped-up!!” Now, he just clicked on some idiot email on his laptop. Again.
Tomorrow…I’m back to work!

lol! Why do we have to be the people everyone goes to to fix and find all the things!?
