3. Write a blog post about what you wanted to be when you grew up.
I settled into my 5th period math class in seventh grade and adjusted the photos beneath the transparent cover of my binder. I pulled the wallet-sized picture of my sister and her boyfriend posing together at a dance. She was the Homecoming princess. I coughed loudly and Nick turned to see what the commotion was about.
“What’s that?” he asked.
My plan worked.
“Oh this? This photo that I’m staring at in the middle of math class? This is my sister. She’s was Homecoming princess this year.”
“Can I see it?”
“Oh sure!”
He took the picture and ogled my beautiful sister. “Wow!!” A few other boys peeked over his shoulder, “Who’s that!?!”
“That’s my sister…she was the Homecoming princess. A lot of people think we’re twins, but she’s older.”
The boys looked at the photo and then looked at me and then looked at the photo again, “sooooo…are you going to look like THAT when you’re older!?!?!”
I smiled coyly, “Well yeah, probably…”
Seeing my prospective beauty that would one day blossom when I grew up, as proven by this photo of my sister, was sure to win me MAJOR points with the boys!
I waggled my eyebrows…any takers???
No. No, it would seem they were actually just more interested in the photo of my Homecoming princess sister. Boy did that ever backfire!
I tucked the photo into it’s rightful spot on my binder cover and thought about what it would be like to be a Homecoming princess just like me sister when I grew up.
I’m…still thinking about it.
Now it’s your turn!

Well, all I have to say is that I see two beautiful young ladies in this photo. And both… Homecoming Princess quality!
What do boys know anyway….
