5. Share one piece of great advice you’ve received.
When I met my husband, I knew it was a little odd to be dating someone 11 years older than me and that perhaps my former volleyball coach wasn’t exactly who the world pictured me with. When I expressed my concerns to my Mother she gave me some very wise advice as always:
Mom: Finding love and knowing who “The One” is has nothing to do with how big they are or what they look like and it has everything to do with the way they make you feel when they hug you.
Me: I never thought of it like that.
Mom: You can feel protected and small in the arms of whoever it is you love.
Me: Gee, thanks Mom!
Mom: True love has nothing to do with great big muscles.
Me: Right, got it.
Mom: A handsome face…
Me: I get it.
Mom: (looking dreamily into the distance) A great smile…
Me: Mom?
Mom: Athletic stature….
Me: Mom, snap out of it!
Mom: Ahem I’m sorry, where was I? Oh yes, it’s the soul connection that matters!
The soul connection! I told you she gives great advice!! I obviously made the right choice.

John Holton says
Works that way for men, too. How you feel when they hug you is all that’s important.
