You’ve created a recliner with the lengths of the lines. How I can picture you sitting on that chair, you so tiny and it so big.

That’s an impressive first poem, rich with imagery and meaning. It’s filled with love and at the same time tinged with loss.

I used to collect my poems as a child until I ‘published’ my first book around age 10. It’s the writing that speaks to my heart and yet I haven’t written a true poem – I mean a keeper – for so long. Probably since my own father died five years ago.

Thanks for the inspiration.
